Last night we ventured back into Dublin center.
We stopped into The Dawson Lounge (shoutout to the the Hudson family for the recommendation). The sign claims it's "probably the smallest pub in the world" and it was tiny! Just a few stools lined the bar and a couple of tables and chairs. We enjoyed Guinness, cider and conversations with the locals. There's a lot of buzz in the city about the upcoming Conor McGregor boxing match. He was born and raised in Dublin!
There's lots of beautiful architecture to see.
We visited the Boxty Pub for dinner and were seated at the bar...a first for the girls.
Taking in more of the scenery...
This morning we took a bus back into Dublin center for brunch before heading to Go Quest. Go Quest is an adventure center with physical, mental and skill challenges, similar to BodaBorg back at home. The girls were so excited.
We split into two teams of three. The twins and I were the winning team (representing team Queen B). Daddy was not thrilled to lose and we ended up paying for an additional 45 minutes of play time. It really was a ton of fun!
After, we stopped into Darkey Kelly's for a bite to eat and to hear live Irish music. This pub was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint.
Pub life...
I could never tire of the side streets and alleyways all lit up!
Tomorrow morning we fly to Milan. We are sad to say goodbye to Ireland...the people, music, pubs and brown bread!
Slán go fóill...
Goodbye for now!
