Acone & Fiesole, Italy

We got into Rome very late on Monday night. We stayed at an agriturismo outside of the city and were on the road early Tuesday morning.
The sun was already shining! The weather was looking great for the next few days...mid to upper 70s.
We had a three hour drive to the agriturismo in Acone. We stopped in Rufina, the next town over from Acone, for a bite to eat. We had a laugh when I was served bread after asking where the bathroom was. Still a little rusty on my Italian but it's coming back to me!

The sweetest dog who has stolen all of our hearts...Flor...short for Florence!
She's so cute!

It didn't take long for the girls to jump in. The weather is gorgeous!
After swimming and relaxing for a bit we drove to the nearby town of Fiesole.
From the hills of Fasiole you can see Florence!
We trekked up two of the biggest hills ever to visit the monastery and museum of San Francesco.

After, we ate dinner at La Reggia degli Etruschi. The restaurant overlooks Florence and the meal was excellent!
The salt on the table was from the area of France we had just come from!
Florence all lit up!
Gorgeous photo that Daddy took!

After a beautiful and fun filled day we ended the night by scraping the passenger side door of the rental car on a brick wall. The streets in Italy are very narrow! The ride back to Acone was a bummer but thankfully no one was hurt.
