Blevio, Bellagio & Varenna, Italy

This morning we boarded the ferry to visit the town of Bellagio. We stayed in Bellagio on our last visit to Lake Como. It's a gorgeous town, although busier than Varenna.

We grabbed a few croissants and espressos and then took a taxi to the town of Blevio.

In Blevio, we had plans to take a banana boat excursion. I was pretty anxious to head out on the water but I didn't want to let on because the kids were so excited.

It's pretty much a guarantee that you're going to wipe out. After being tossed off the first time, it wasn't so scary anymore.

Daddy and his girls...

After our excursion, we walked to the ferry dock and ate lunch at Momi by the water. It was delicious!

They even had a photo of George Clooney on the wall. He owns a villa in the nearby town of Laglio.

Carpaccio with an anchovy caper sauce...

Pasta Bolognese...

Pesto pasta...

We ordered a serving of the flourless chocolate cake for dessert...

It was gone in 30 seconds or less. Seriously guys?!

Views on the way back to Bellagio and Varenna from the ferry...

We freshened up and went out to dinner at Il Molo again...it was just SO good the first night!

Prosciutto & Gorgonzola pizza and
prosciutto & melon...

On our walk back to the house we heard a late night soccer game going on. Daddy lifted rose over the wall so she could get a better look.

Tomorrow we pack up and head to Venice!
