Grand Teton National Park - Moose, WY

On Friday morning we went to Grand Teton National Park.  The park was amazing.

We saw moose right on the way in...

After driving around the Tetons, we made our way back into Jackson for lunch.  We stopped and ate at the Silver Dollar Grill.

The bar had silver dollars set in the top...reminded me of my Dad's bar!

This is one of the four elk antler arches in downtown Jackson Hole.  They were really neat.

Heading back to the park, we saw a deer on the side of the road...

While in the park, we took a boat cruise out of Colter Bay on Jackson Lake.  The guides gave us a lot of information about the history of the park.  It was very interesting.  Rosalie fell asleep, which seems to be a pattern when we go on any guided tours.

If you look up high on one of the trees you can see an eagle's nest.  There was an eagle in the nest on this particular day but we didn't have binoculars with us.
As we drove around the park some more, we spotted two more moose hanging out in the water.  The tour guide actually mentioned that their moose count isn't too high in the park and you're lucky if you see them.  I guess it was our lucky day - we saw them coming and going from the park.
