Friday afternoon we went to a German festival in Milwaukee. There were lots of bands, beer, shops and German food. The atmosphere was really fun but we were sweating - it was hot! The girls were happy to find a misting tent. We'd walk around the fair and inevitably find our way back to the tent to cool off. We also tried schnitzel for the first time!

| There was a tent for free arts and crafts. I was glad Rosalie was sleeping because you had to be over 3 to enter. The kids could stay for an hour while the parents walked around the fair but we hung out right outside of the tent at a picnic table. |
We finished up at the fair and loaded back into the car to head for Chicago for the second time on this trip. Chicago was planned to be our last big stop, so it was bittersweet...or just bitter...we've been having too much fun to go home!
