Yesterday afternoon we visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, Wisconsin. It's the site where three apparitions of Mary occurred to a woman, Adele Brise, in 1859. Mary told Adele that she should spend her life teaching children about Jesus so they would be ready for salvation. Adele spent the rest of her days teaching children in the school, church and convent that were built on the site where the apparitions occurred.
The apparition at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help is the only one approved by the Catholic church in the United States.

| This is the exact site where the apparitions happened. It is in the basement of the church that was built right over it. You could go downstairs and pray and lights candles. |
